@Joerg

I use it partly for additional charsets, but mostly because libparserutils exhibits some strange crashes when used with newlib.library's internal iconv. It's something I've been unable to make a reproduceable test case for, even piping the same data back through lpu using a test executable won't crash it. Whether the bug is in NetSurf, lpu or newlib.library is a mystery, but no such problems when lpu is built against libiconv instead.

libiconv 1.13.1:

Do you need support for additional charsets, or why do you use an iconv library instead of the iconv functions in newlib.library?

I have a .so version of 1.13.1 and a static newlib of 1.12 here.
I will get around to uploading them one day.
