This is a build of the Python Imaging Library version 1.1.6 for
AmigaOS4.1

"The Python Imaging Library (PIL) adds image processing capabilities
to your Python environment.  This library provides extensive file
format support, an efficient internal representation, and powerful
image processing capabilities."

Read the file README for more info on what PIL is all about.

The Sane and Tk components are currently disabled.

AmigaOS4.1 Update 1
Python 2.5 (amiga version 53.24)(supplied with OS4.1 U 1)
libjpeg.so

INSTALATION

Installing the prebuilt version:

Copy the contents of the drawer Python/ to PYTHON:

eg

copy clone all python/ to PYTHON:

Copy the contents of the drawer Scripts/ to your prefered destination for
python script.

eg

copy clone all scripts/ PYTHON:Scripts/

Building for your self:

If you have the full SDK installed (includeing the required python includes)
you can cd to the src directory and follow the instructions in the README
file.

cd src
python setup.py build_ext -i
python setup.py install
