I assume you unpacked the files directly into a volume rather than into a
subdrawer? The code in mtpng that tries to get the path where the file is only
stops at a '/' character and not ':'.

the email on ians homepage bounces.. i found an irc channel with a guy that knew
him, but haven't spoken to him for 18 years :D

he had this to say about the .w file, that confirms my suspicions:

Oh, in that context, it's the wavs for the audio, instruments.
The other is the sequence.
Probably either has a header, with lenghts of
each instrument or they each take a specific length.

the tune consists of two file:

VIAD2
VIAD2.W

The .W file seems to be the samples. mtpng can't find them. This is how the
