Also we lack VST efects I think it was. 
 
But I thought only OS4 version was being made open source. :-o

AFAIK the main problem to port new versions of AE to AmigaOS was lacks of wxwidgets in the past... 
Now dont know why that public release...

So this one means that no further versions of this program will be available for AmigaOS? Only win/mac flavours now?
