I'm not a DefIcons expert, but if you have customized DefIcons installation compared to a standard OS4 installation, it might require some tweaking. 
 
You can start a new topic at the [url=http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/viewforum.php?forum=39]JAmiga support forum on amigans.net[/url]. Its easier to maintain a thread there, and others might help.

After carefully following instructions I couldn't get .Java to work in DefIcons, no problems with .Jar or .Class.

One comment for this new file upload: it is still JAmiga version 1.2, only updated with a bugfixed installation script. If you weren't able to install previously (before 2014-01-05), it might be due to spaces in partition name or drawer. This should now be fixed.

It's so lovely to see update to this amazing Java implementation! Will update as soon as i get my new Telenor router up and running! :) Keep up the good work, Thomas :)
