The a1ide.device 51.54 locks up my microA1 at random times when accessing some
files... I had to reinstall an older version from my sys backup... any ideas ?

These files are a lot bigger than those from upd4. You didn't happen to forget
to optimize them or anything I hope..?? ;-)

It is not hyperion who distributed those files, but rather myself, because after
having seen another post from someone who experienced trouble which I think I
fixed, I decided to release. A harddisk driver is not an ordinary system
component, imho.

But if all I get when doing what I think is a smart move, is a trollfest, then
I'll ponder longer next time.

Come on. This is just a fix that I felt urgent to release, for obvious reasons.

As for the license : lol ! I never put anything in any License: field, this must
be the default in the 'upload' form.
