I recovered only the 2.85 and there's no way to recover any newer version unfrotunately...
So I'm going to recompile the 2.85 trying to add a new Exif TAG and than I'll upload the new/final version(at least till the next Hollywood version)...and try to start my new and completely diferent project...
The 2.90 changelog so too "Mystic" to remember what I do...and my ToDo.txt file was lost togheter newer LoView versions sources...

Hi!
Yes I plan to recompile LoView with Hollywood X, the only problem was that I lost the post 2.90 sources and everything else so I dont remember wich differences have 2.91 against 2.90.
So I will recompile 2.90...

Glad to hear from you. I really like LoView but it does have the annoying requester on startup. There was an update to Hollywood, or was it MUIRoyale, that requires a recompile to avoid this requester at startup. Maybe the guys on the Hollywood forums could fill you in better. It would be great to have a recompiled version of LowView if you could do that. :-)

Hope you solved the issue, BTW as mentioned on LoView.txt it needs:

MUIRoyale Hollywood plug-in to use the inbuilt Preferences editor

Simply donwload it from:

http://www.hollywood-mal.com/download.html

and enjoy!

When I start Loview from Dopus to view a picture and then open LoviewThumb (Tools-Open Thumb...), the Ringhio notification shows up on the Workbench screen instead of the screen LoviewThumb is on. At first I thought the Ringhio notification wasn't working. When I tried LoviewThumb a second time, I switched to my Workbench screen and saw the notification there.

Exif already works in my current beta(now I'm working on SlideShow support(50% done)), atm it mainly was used tio displays some info on screen(iif the user like it) and to display pictures in the correct orientation...the reading of Exif was rather immediate so no wait times for that :)
Save of Exif header was planned but not still in program, and at least not for the next forthcoming release(maybe around half of april)...
Hope that was nice for you :)

Imho will be cool to make it in 2 ways:
1. if directory only choicen - then show all the picts from the first one
2. if file are choicen - then show that file first, and then, all the files in that dir.

That will be solve all the problems for all the users :)

In next release I think it was been here...however I think to add the function in that way:

- You select one file than my prog will scan the dir(and maybe recursively) but starts to display from the picture choosen firstly...

- The loop from brginning will be here too why asking if loop or not..

- In the future I like to add as many filters and other little editing functions I can...also a save button naturally...Hollywood was excellent to do that work and was slightly fast as you can see using my little prog... :D

Ideas and any other feedback will been apprecated! Better if you cn send it to me by pm on AW site...so I can track it easly...

Thank you ALL!

DSI verbose error description: Access not found in hash or BAT (page fault)
Access was a load operation

If you will provide a debug version, i can say where is bug.

Also i found one more bug with resizing:
run programm, choice any picture, then "down" 5 times, and then up 5 times, and on last one (when image must be placed like it was for the running), you will see, that image centered bad (just centered to the left side, with empty space on the right area).

Also will be cool if you will add things which are on "up/down" to the +/- on standard and number keyboard.

And maybe a little bug: when you run programm, but choice nothinkg (not files to show), and then you press button for autofill on fullsize, then you have:
Table filed 0 was not initialized!
File: DisplayImmagine.hw (current line: 1152 - In function: p_calcoloposizione).

So, you need to handle that one too and say to user window like "you have no picture to show, why you want to fullscreen?" or just swith to fullscreen without image..

The software itself are very-very nice by idea, becouse it's very-very simply. You just run, choice the directory and watch the picts. Good that it have "left-right" for the swith images. At moment i have only 2 suggestions for you:

1. Make it "looped". I.e. when i coming to the last picture, make it autoswithched on the first one again.

2. When you choice directory where is pictures placed, you need select the picture, that is wrong. User need only go into directory and press ok (without selecting the files).

And one more addition (not sure through it's related to your programm, or to OS itself) : Will be cool if the last directory will be "remembers". Becouse for example when i want to open new directory with pictures, i again have default direcotry of the programm.

And the last, but very-very big for work suggestion: maybe add some kind of easy directory layout navigation to the programm ? I mean just new window, which you can switch on-off , where you can browse the directoryes for the images. Somethinkg very-very simply, very-very primitive, but which you can click by mouse and fast navigate beetwen.

Anyway, Keep up the simplicity for end users and nice work in future :) (ACDSEE will suck something after a while :) )
