If you're still having trouble download the latest full package and reinstall, then update that.  I think there was an issue with a certain version where I must have used the wrong executable to create the patch.

AmiUpdate keeps asking to update and it doesn't. I try with the provided install script : it doesn't work. 
 
I tried to do it manually and I get : no matching patches.
