IMPORTANT!!
This program deletes tags which are not supported !!
Installing: Copy directory wherever you want.
Done since Version 0.97A
- Added support for ID3V2.2, V2.3 and V2.4
Title, Artist, Album Year, Tracknumber, TotalTracks, Genre, Comments,
Picturetag ( jpeg and png )
- You can now choose which tagversions you will write to
( id3v2 still only writes V2.3 which is the most commonly used)
- Added ability to clear tags
- IconifyGadget is working now and will no longer crash.
- Removed a lot of annoying requesters.
- Program runs in general faster.
ToDo:
- Add support for more ID3 tags
- Add support for FLAC and OGG.
- add support for TIFF and IFF pictures.
- Implement an option to write tag properties to/from filename/tags (
tracknumber, artist, album etc )
- Add total tracks from number of musicfiles found within same album.
- Speed up process while searching for valid mp3 headers
- General GUI improvements.
- Add a settings menu and make it more configurable
Bugs:
- When opening multiple files and select only multiple folders, program will
crash
- Fails to find file if directorynames are too long.
- 3DF files might have similar contents as mp3 files, and music tagger might
register these files as mp3
