- plays mp3, aiff, wav, flac, ogg, CDDA raw data, midi, dbm, mod, s3m, xm, it
files as well as mp3, ogg and aac streams and audio CDs
- reads ID3 tags from mp3 files
- reads CDDB data of audio CDs
- reads CD text from audio CDs if CDDB is not available
