If you're a parent, chances are your children watched you working on your OS4
machine and now want to do what mom or dad did - pressing those keyboard buttons
to make something happen. As a dad of two, I had my files and drives more than
once renamed to something like "q(a2ga<wg,#". However, now you can just use Baby
Animal Show whenever your toddler is nearby.
This game is designed for the youngest (0-3 yrs). It shows a pretty animal
picture on a single-colored background. A typical sound for every animal is
included. Whatever key your kids press on the keyboard, another animal will
randomly appear and the respective sound starts playing.
Sounds unspectacular, but keeps your offspring entertained for the few moments
of attention span that they have. Believe me, I've had "dedicated" beta testers
at home. :-)
As the kids get older, you can refine the game rules a bit - close their eyes
and let them guess the animals only by the sound playing. Or mute the sound and
let the kids imitate the animal sounds. (gives hilarious videos for the family
album!)
Baby Animal Show is freeware, which means you can do with it whatever you want.
If your kids enjoy it, I'd be happy to receive a short e-mail. (English, German
or Russian is fine)
If I see there is a demand, I may continue to publish child software for OS4.
