Full functional program for rendering Mandelbrot & Julia fractals with different
Tested and developed under WinUAE OS4 Classic and QEMU Sam460ex board emulators,
so many thanks to Toni Wilen and Zoltan Balaton for their GREAT efforts :-)
From version 2.1 FlashMandelNG runs partially also under MorphOS & OS4EMU and
use handmade assembler routines for max speed.
Uses Arexx port, Localization, Arbitrary precision math and don't need any
installer, just click 'n run!
C and Asm sources are also included, you can recompile it just typing MAKE!
It's fast even on emulated Amigas and can render even with direct memory access
..under WinUAE it's faster than many others x86 native fractal programs ;-)
Saved pictures can be reloaded and further explored at all supported screen's
It's really cool and totally free ;-)

Altivec code is developed and tested under Powermac G5 Quad hardware with MacOSX
Leopard 10.5.8 OS and XCode 3 IDE && Ubuntu Mate 16.04 LinuxPPC OS and
CodeBlocks IDE
Many many thanks and greetings to my friend Edgar Schwan (FlashMandel

In archive we have three binaries:

1) FlashMandelNG_OS4 -> critical routines are written in C and compiles with
full speed optimizations
2) FlashMandelNG_OS4_powerpc -> critical routines are written in handmade
assembler for max speed on powerpc cpus
3) FlashMandelNG_OS4_altivec -> critical routines are written in C with Altivec

I'd like to add another binary for Tabor ans its SPE unit, ..maybe in the next
release we got it!

..so what version is the faster one? Maybe the n.2 with handmade assembler, but
really I still haven't done much tests about it.
Instead for sure the altivec binary should be the slower one on most cpu, infact
at this time the vector unit is used just as a simple fpu.

FlashMandelNG_OS4 is Giftware,
If you like it please sent nice goodies to author just like gold medals,
bitcoins, euros or us dollars ;-)
..A common postcard is ok too!

New in v2.1:
Partial MorphOS compatibility via OS4EMU - Load and save didn't work
Reworked and eliminated all pre AGA stuff.
Now we have 3 different binaries, normal GCC code, Altivec code and New PowerPC
handmade asm version.
Added DUTCH catalog language -thanks to Bennymee for translation
Minor fixes and changes.

New in v2.0:
(Re)Enabled AREXX support (Please download and install AWNP_2-54.lha archive
from Aminet to let it run)
Fixed tooltypes

To Do:
AmigaOne Tabor A1222 specific SPE version
Use hardware fpu until underflow/overflow limits are reached amd then switch
automatically in multiprecion
Improve AREXX Benchmark Mode script to test speeds of different Amiga platforms
Update the very old documentation - Amigaguide
