The problem is, that all AmiCygnix binaries are statically linked. All libraries including the GTK+ and Gimp libs are compiled in. At the moment there is no other way.

I am curious to understand why all the filter plug-ins are so huge. Naturally I'd expect something like to be a matter of Kilobytes not 100Mb+!
