@srupprecht
 I really love this utility! Thank you for continuing to develop it.

Thumbnails created by Eastern are also deficons. It's not possible to turn transparency off without affecting all other deficons, too.

@sruprecht Thanks, changing the start priorities worked. However, changing the transparency settings in the Workbench preferences is for all deficons. I still want def icons to appear semitransparent, so that I can distringuish between files with icons, and those without.

You can change the transparency level in Workbench prefs. Also Eastern must be started after DefIcons otherwise it won't work (simply change the start priority of the icons in WBStartup).

This is a nice program. Thumbnail images was a feature that I've been wishing we had for a while. Unfortunately, because it's for files without icons, they appear semi-transparent. Any way to make them solid, so the colours aren't washed out? Also, when I start it from WBStartup, it doesn't work. If I remove it from WBStartup and double-click on it later, it works fine.

amazing! i don't find it that slow on my update5, a1-c! wonder if this has been really tricky to make, seeing it's a new feature on AmigaOS?
