Also forgot to say that when I first opened the Installer for VideoVortex, it claimed it couldn't find the latest PhytonAmiSSLv5 version 2.4 file and that I had to download it from OS4Depot, yet when i searched my AmigaOS4 setup, it was installed in my system. Another evidence of the VideoVortex Installer being somewhat wrong.

To try to make the explanation simple. Something is definitely wrong with the Installer script. If you look at what I told about the error it created after 99% of the installation, it claims it can't find the LHA part of VideoVortex (but it's there anyway). So something is either missing from the Installer script or written wrong.
Another important thing is that I'm more convinced that there is a version conflict between VideoVortex 1.4 and the new V-MPlayer 1.2. I guess that the YT.rexx script itself needs to be updated to better support both the latest VideoVortex AND the new V-MPlayer. Probably that way, the whole thing would work without any problem. Like said, I'm skipping 1.4 version of VideoVortex for now. Spend good time irony out any possible problems with VideoVortex. Once you get it fully working with the new V-MPlayer out of the box, then I will be ready to pick it up again. Always do your very best. No rush. Work patienctly. I believe in you. You can do this.

Further testing confirmed the problems I experienced with VideoVortex 1.4, like I told, and the new V-MPlayer 1.2 doesn't run through VideoVortex, even when I tried to click a video. Version 1.3 of VideoVortex worked with the ordinary MPlayer, but I removed MPlayer, in favor of the new V-MPlayer. VideoVortex is not made with Hollywood 11, but V-MPlayer is. Somehow, VideoVortex needs to be made with Hollywood in order to use V-MPlayer to play videos. As it stands now, it doesn't work. When running V-MPlayer without VideoVortex, it works. If I however download video clips from a PC and bring them to my X5000 to play directly from V-MPlayer, it works. Through VideoVortex 1.4, it doesn't. I'm 99% sure that I'm not the only one with this problem. I know you will do your best to fix the problems that are. Keep doing your best. I'm skipping version 1.4 for now, since V-MPlayer was just added for the first time as supported in VideoVortex. It needs deep work to make it work with V-MPlayer.

The Installer Utility shows this message just before completed. It says "Protect failed returncode 20. Lha failed: Object not found. RAM Disk: VideoVortexInstaller/VideoVortex/data/lha/lha failed returncode 10.
The strange thing is that the LHA stuff was included in the archive, despite this error.
When running VideoVortex, an error message displays stating UNKNOWN COMMAND when attempting to search for the ordinary MPlayer and FFMPEG in the DATA section of the VideoVortex. I will do further testing. Fortunately, I have a backup.

Thanks. One theory is that VideoVortex must also be made with Hollywood 11, in order for the new V-MPlayer to work, since V-MPlayer was made with Hollywood 11. The ordinary MPlayer used to work with VideoVortex. Unfortunately, I chose to remove the ordinary MPlayer, because of the new V-MPlayer. The player itself works as supposed to, when not used with VideoVortex. I need to do some more testings to make a final conclusion.

I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce these issues. Based on this error description, I'm also unable to determine where the problem might be. Let's see if anyone else is experiencing similar issues. And yes, V-Player is also supported.

Tested the new VideoVortex 1.4 that is in the Uploads. Three things that don't work properly. The Installer doesn't work quite correctly. Seems to fail when nearly completed, causing an error. Secondly, when attempting to run VideoVortex, a display stating UKNOWN COMMAND when attempting to load the DATAs for normal MPlayer and FFMPEG stuff. I happen to remember this should not occour. The third thing is that it doesn't seem to be running the V-MPlayer when choosing it to play videos. Not sure what is wrong there in version 1.4 of VideoVortex, but I guess the support is not quite there yet. Hope these can be fixed. Thanks. Keep up the excellent work.

I got version 1.3 working on my X5000. Had to do some tweaking testing the 3 different player functions, then going back to choosing Emotion, and then it worked. Thanks for the update. Keep improving :)

I haven't used VideoVortex yet, but I think if you use Emotion as the player, one of the VideoVortex options will open the m3u8 that contains the full list of tracks that you can select inside Emotion. One of those options should contain the original language.

VideoVortex works very well with YT. Bringing them together, especially when having the latest full version of Emotion, allows YouTube videos to be played with ease. Works as a charm on my X5000. Thanks for providing this GUI for YT. Keep up the excellent work.
