This is a guide to programming Amiga OS4's ReAction interface toolkit. It is
a private effort, not sponsored by any organization, and is therefore the sole
responsibility of the author.
I wrote this guide as a response to queries on AmigaWorld.net as to the
existence of programming manuals for ReAction. The guide is in pdf format, and
includes as a source code example, the ReAction based layout of my current
project Sambamatic. Also included is a binary demo of Sambamatic v.1. I have
included the binary so that those using the guide and looking at the source
examples can run the binary in order to better grasp ReAction. It also gave me
the excuse to release a "preview" of the next Sambamatic. The binary depends
upon another program not included, so it is not useable for network purposes.
It is included strictly for educational purposes.
I do hope this guide begins to fill a sorely felt need within the Amiga
community for programming guides and tutorials. I have spent a fair amount of
time on this project, and it is my intention to periodically update and expand
as I improve my own knowledge. If your programming efforts are helped by this
effort, please consider sending a bit of donation my way via paypal.

Have fun coding!
